Pitsanuvej Hospital was opened in 1982 with 50 registered beds. It is the first private hospital in the lower northern region of Thailand. In 1995, the hospital saw the need to increases its capacity to 150 registered beds. In 2012, the hospital became the first Joint Commission International (JCI) accredited hospital in the region.
Pitsanuvej Hospital provides upper secondary care with various medical services, such as Internal Medicine, Pediatrics Centre, Obstetrics and Gynecology Centre, Surgical Clinic, Health Check-up Centre, Psychiatric Clinic, Children and Adolescents Development Centre, Ear, Nose and Throat Centre, Dental Clinic and other services such as Radiology, Heart, Laboratory and Surgical examination. It has become the centre for medial excellences in the region, serving the community for more than 35 years.
